Working with Brandie on my journey was very challenging but rewarding. She is very passionate about her clients and the success they have in their fitness journey. Her program has various benefits it teaches you how to eat healthy and exercise to improve your overall goals. I have always been an active person and someone that has been working out since high school (20+ years) but I have not always been working out effectively and eating nutritiously. As a career-driven mother and wife that works varying shifts I quickly learned that eating and working out with a purpose was the only way I would be able to maintain my busy schedule and still have time to be the best version of myself. I have been a long-time client of Brandie’s and the absolute most important lesson that she has taught me along the way is BALANCE. In the past I had tried different workouts and diets, but she showed me (by trusting the process) that health and fitness is a lifestyle. I am truly grateful for Brandie’s knowledge of food and fitness as well as her brutal honesty at times when I needed that accountability. I started working with Brandie to learn how to eat after being diagnosed with Celiac, (which she taught me) but it turned in to so much more. One quote has always stood out for me as I’ve begun my journey to a better me. “Ninety-nine percent of the failures come from people who have the habit of making excuses.” I was the Queen of excuses until I finally realized that there would never be a perfect time in my life to start working on me. For the longest time though I saw this as a very selfish statement as a mom of two young kids with one too many things on my plate on the daily. But as I watched silently from behind the screen of social media wishing I could be as confident in my own skin as so many of my friends, I finally decided to take a leap of faith and reach out to Brandie. Her knowledge and tough love truly helped to jumpstart a lifestyle shift that I’ve come to love. I’ve slowly come to realize that this journey is one that is not a quick trip. NOTHING happens overnight….a VERY HARD lesson that I battled with because goodness knows I am impatient! But with CONSISTENCY and a little stubbornness, I can honestly say I finally don’t dislike the person in the mirror anymore. More importantly, I love the example that I’ve set for my children. The most often asked question.... I wish I had a magic eightball to give you an answer but every body is different and every person comes with a different bag of tricks to unpack. A lot depends on what you put in and how honest you can be in the process. There is always progress after 6 weeks, but getting to your final goal can take time.
NO!! Any program you are dependent on forever is not a program, its a catch. My goal is to educate you well and teach you to navigate and manage everyday life on your own the way that best fits your lifestyle. That looks different for everyone and so does the time span it takes to get there.
Thats the BEST part. However strict you want it to be. There are guidelines that science has proven to work and that need to be followed in order to get timely results. How you adhere to those is up to you. If you want a more manageable lifestyle and slower result, so be it. If you want to get from point A to point B quickly, so be it. It's all up to you.
